Shedding the weight...

I've never been one of these people who spends a lot of time thinking about my weight. Recently I've been reading a blog called "Back in Skinny Jeans" and it talks about healthy ways to live rather than being obsessed with fad diets and that sort of thing. Interestingly enough, I got on the scale yesterday and realized that I've lost 15 pounds since I stopped working at the hospital, which means that I have 5lbs to go to lose the 20 pounds I packed on while up there.

It's such a good feeling to finally finish shedding both the mental and physical aspects of that job. I'm in a better place in every single meaning of the phrase, and that makes me really, really happy.

Quote of the Day: "Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity." John F. Kennedy, Jr. I borrowed the quote from BISJ.
