KEXP is playing "Hallelujah" as done by Jeff Buckley. Nobody ever plays that song. I am attempting not to cry as that song always makes me cry when I hear it. Mostly because it's so beautiful that it literally makes my heart hurt when I hear it. But it's one of my all time favorite songs.
This is totally improving my day. Awesome. It's a good music day. I heard "Kimberly Austin" by Porno for Pyros earlier, which totally reminds me of high school and of Lovely Miss M. What a good intro to the weekend!
Quote of the Day: "Baby, I've been here before/I've seen this room/and I've walked this floor/I used to live alone before I knew you/I've seen your flag on the marble arch/and love is not a victory march/it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah/hallelujah." Hallelujah, Jeff Buckley (originally written by Leonard Cohen).
